A collection of songs from Syrian singer Shadi Jamil (born 1955) Shadi Jamil (1955), whose real name is George Jamil Gibran, is a Syrian singer from the city of Aleppo who is considered one of the giants of art in the Arab world. Jamil learned the basics of singing and hymns in the church and took a great interest in the Andalusian mushahat, then he joined the cultural center in Aleppo, where he was trained by great teachers, including Bahjat Suleiman and Sheikh Nadim Al Darwish.
