A collection of songs by the Syrian artist Shadi Jamil (born 1955). Shadi Jamil, whose real name is George Jamil Jibran, is a Syrian singer from Aleppo. He excelled in performing Qudud Halabiya (Aleppine Qudud) and the broader Arab tarab tradition, achieving fame and success across the Arab world. Shadi Jamil first learned the foundations of singing and hymns through the church and developed a deep interest in Andalusian Muwashahat. He later joined the cultural center in Aleppo, where he trained under prominent masters including Bahjat Suleiman and Sheikh Nadim Al Darwish. Today, Shadi Jamil remains an active performer, with numerous concerts held in various Arab capitals and cities.
