The talented musician Muhammad Mounir Jabri opens this recording with a message to his wife, children, grandchildren, relatives, friends, and all lovers of the nay flute. He explains that he recorded this album as a memento, extending his best wishes and loyalty to them. Most of his performance in this recording consists of taqasim (improvisations) in various Eastern maqams (musical modes) such as Hijaz, Saba, Ujam, Bayat, Rast, Nihaund, and Nikriz. Additionally, he performs well-known Arabic songs like Hawel Ya Ghannam and Ala Allah Ta'oud in a unique style on the nay flute, while preserving the original spirit of the songs.
