Recordings of Quranic Recitations by Sheikh Khalil Darwish Talib. Sheikh Khalil Darwish Talib was born in Jaffa, Palestine in 1929. After his family's forced expulsion during the Palestinian Nakba (catastrophy), he eventually resettled in Damascus, residing in the Al-Qanawat district. He was among the pioneering reciters to be recorded by Damascus Radio. He died in 1975.
