This cassette includes a recording of a wedding party in which the artist Abu Tamim Zaidan performs on the mejwiz. The recording also includes attaba pieces accompanied by the nay and mazhar. Abu Tamim Zaidan is celebrated as one of the most famous mejwiz players across the villages of Salamiya, known for his exceptional ability to improvise and sing spontaneously while playing. The cassette is part of a curated collection by Ghassan Qaddour, a dedicated historical researcher who has devoted his efforts to collecting, documenting, and preserving the rich tangible and intangible folklore of the Hama governorate.
