More Info

This highly enjoyable cassette stands out for its wonderfully unique sound engineering, allowing us to hear young singer Mohammad Al Ali coming from afar, cloaked in a layer of distortion. The arrangement is dominated by a thick-sounding organ, with intermittent appearances of string instruments. The smooth continuity between tracks makes this tape feel more like a DJ set without clear beginnings or endings, inviting the listener to become fully immersed and lose themselves in the music. The young singer from Homs captivated many listeners in the mid-1990s with his simultaneously sweet and powerful voice, earning him the title 'The Miracle Child.' For that brief period, he seemed to be following in the footsteps of George Wassouf. However, his star faded as his artistic activity diminished in later years.
