This cassette gives us an early look at Syrian shaabi singer Munther Al Alo from the start of his career in the late 1990s, where we can sense his prowess in singing and playing with letter pronunciation as if he's reciting his song lyrics, and we can also notice the close connection between him and the keyboards as an essential cornerstone in the arrangement of any concerts he performs or cassettes he records. Munther Al Alo achieved great success across Syria and the region over the following two decades, and is considered one of the rare shaabi artists whose songs made it to streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music. He lives today in the UAE, and forms half of a duo with keyboards player Muyassar Al Alo.
