More Info

This live tape captures the earliest stage of Hadwan Khazem’s shaabi music career, when he was introduced by the master of ceremonies as a child prodigy. Performing songs written and composed especially for him despite his young age, Hadwan delivers a tender concert with his warm, sweet voice and remarkable breath control. Hadwan comes from a deeply rooted family in Hama’s shaabi music scene, which opened doors for him from an early age — with songs written for him, concerts arranged, and bands booked. Nevertheless, he later chose to step away from singing and specialize in playing shaabi keyboards, achieving remarkable success in this direction. This shift led him to collaborate with many of Hama’s most prominent shaabi singers, from veterans like Issa Naous to younger contemporaries like Yazan Al Nimr.
