Here we listen to one of the most famous and widely circulated recordings of Hassake singer and rababa player Saleem Al Wafi Al Jabbouri. Salim belongs to the Jabbouri family, which has a long history and deep roots in rababa music, abudhiya, and souaihly in the Jazeera region. He moved to Turkey after the start of the war in Syria, and has continued recording and performing there until today, with tens of thousands of listeners following him on his various channels and pages.
