More Info

Deiri singer Nidal Maddad specialized in the musical heritage of the Syrian Jazira region, especially the Euphrates basin music, such as the choubi. Lomi is one of his most circulated albums on the internet since its release in the mid-nineties, featuring choubi and shaabi songs distinguished by comprehensive arrangement for its time of release, and by Nidal's monotone singing that comes across as an anchor, unconcerned with the keyboard's wave-like energy.
