More Info

This live tape dates back to the early days of Homsi singer Sanaa Al Hussein, as well as to the golden age of contemporary Syrian shaabi music in the mid-early 2000s, when it was difficult to spend half a day in any Syrian city without hearing songs and dabke like Am Hussein (Uncle Hussein) which Sana performs in this tape. Sanaa Al Hussein continued her activity in the Syrian shaabi scene until at least 2023, when her Facebook page was crowded with announcements for her upcoming performances in Damascus restaurants and clubs.
