More Info
Fariha Al-Abdullah can be seen as a 1990s version of Sariya al-Sawas – a strong female voice from the countryside of Homs, and a performer of the same popular color in Syrian nightclubs, though Fariha's career preceded Sariya al-Sawas by more than ten years.
Over the many years of her career, Fariha built deep friendships with a diverse number of male voices in the Syrian shaabi scene, who would perform with her on many occasions - names such as Naim Al-Sheikh, Ali Al-Deek, Ahmed Al-Tilawi, among others.
