More Info
A compilation featuring outstanding tracks from legendary Lebanese singer Tony Hannah’s extensive career. Hannah rose to fame after appearing on the Lebanese talent show Studio El Fan in 1973. He was known for his dynamic vocal skills – able to perform an impressive octave range with complete ease. When the Lebanese civil war began, he relocated to London, and from there, to Detroit, Michigan in the US, where he remained for over twenty years before returning to Lebanon and resuming his artistic activity there. The long absence from singing in his native country may have contributed to his diminished activity over the years, but his status as one of the most legendary artists from the region remains intact, in league with the likes of Sabah Fakhri or Melhem Barakat.
