Under the supervision of well-known Syrian artists such as "Abdul Qader Hajjar", he enhanced his musical skills and began his artistic career on stage at the University of Aleppo, he gave concerts and participated in various productions, including a play directed by a "Hamam Hout". During this period, "Wadah Shibli" was encouraged to join the high-end Aleppo club band. He quickly won the hearts of the club members of the Aleppo community with his charming presence and impressive performance, his musical expression and original compromises, he became a desirable artist for the exclusive sari parties, the special evenings among the affluent families of Aleppo. A decade later, he left the club to shift his focus to holding special concerts for prominent figures around the world, making him distinguished as a singer who shuns traditional performances in favor of specially designed intimate performances for his understanding audience. In 1996, Shibli participated in the Aleppo Stars Taraba program as well as the Syrian Song Festival, where he won the Golden Aranina Award for Best Song in 1997.
