Louai Al Aqbani, a native of Sweida Governorate, began his artistic career from childhood, participating in pioneer and youth festivals during his school and university studies, before pursuing music professionally after his university graduation. His first album Land of Dignity was released in 1989, becoming the first in a series of traditional, Hourani, tarab, and patriotic albums released over the subsequent years. Louai obtained membership in the Syrian Artists Syndicate and participated in many festivals in Jordan, Lebanon, UAE, and Bahrain.
