More Info

Hamza Al Khalil is a singer from Minbej, Syria. He performed many concerts alongside Mustafa Abu Al-Fawz, another popular artist from Minbej. Together they made a number of muhawarat (dialog) recordings.

This tape has a unique quality to it, with its blend of synth rhythms and sounds specific to the turn of the century, excellent electrified buzuq, and a distinct meeting of Syrian and Iraqi styles.
