He possessed a literary style with a distinctive and strong character, and the subjects he addressed earned him great popularity. In his poetry, he covered various themes such as talks about homeland, love, social conflicts, and humanitarian issues, with his special touch of incorporating his personal experiences, in addition to poems that discuss Bedouin life and local heritage.
