More Info
In the 1990s, Habib Ali released the song "This is, Oh Love", penned by famous Iraqi composer Ali Saber. It rapidly became a hit, remembered by the nineties generation in Iraq and neighboring countries, particularly in the Euphrates region of eastern Syria, which borders Iraq and shares very similar dialects and musical heritage. Habib Ali's career is still active today, living between Baghdad and the UAE, where he performs new works at live concerts to his fans in the Gulf.
