A richly arranged and high-energy tape from the early stage of Hassake-born singer Ziad Elias's career, presenting a collection of Jazirah songs distinguished by Ziad's light and smooth dialect. A native of Hassake Governorate, singer Ziad Elias earned the title Nightingale of Al Jazirah bestowed upon him by his audience of Assyrians and Arabs. He is known for his mastery of singing medley and Mardelli music among other types of Jazirah music. Ziad owned a cassette shop that he managed himself in Hassake city, where we obtained several tapes from him, including this one.
