Attaba is a style performed prominently throughout Syria. Each region has its own renown singers, distinctive dialect and approach to attaba, from the coastal regions to the Aleppan countryside, to the attaba performed in the Houran region in southern Syria.
Walid Al Agha is a singer from the northern Aleppo countryside who has held a special place in the hearts of attaba audiences across the country throughout his career, which began in the 1990s and continues today.
