A collection of songs from the Syrian folkloric repertoire of As'ad Jaber. As'ad Jaber (1949-2011) was a Syrian actor and singer born in Raqqa. He grew up in a simple environment where working in the field of arts was almost unknown, but he was a natural talent as he sang traditional Euphrates songs. Jaber began his artistic career early on, singing and performing in popular theater His talent gained wider recognition when Duraid Lahham saw one of his performances in Raqqa, leading Jaber to relocate to Damascus. There, he sang the song Tread Troh W Tnsana, which was met with great success and prompted him to recorded several more songs, such as Tzkarini, along with the hit Janna Janna Syria Ya Wtana, which significantly boosted his popularity and marked a turning point in his career. He later transitioned to acting, enriching Syrian television with dozens of dramas and performances, as well as contributing to numerous radio works.
