Hana Salloum is a Shaabi singer from Sahel al-Ghab in Hama Governorate. She began singing shaabi and mawal songs at parties in the early nineties. In 1993, she released her own composition, Ya Ahl Al Shafar Dosou, which is the moment in her career the generation of the time remembers her by. Salloum's activity continued within a modest scope at weddings on the Syrian coast and in Hama up until the past few years.
