A great collection of high-energy tracks from the Jordanian group Tigers Band. The group was popular in the region during the 1980s and 1990s. In this cassette from 1993, the band performs a collection of Arab pop songs, specifically Egyptian, from that era, such as Lawlaki by Ali Hamida, Samra Ya Samra by Karem Mahmoud, and Al-Tawba by Abdel Halim Hafez. The keyboard dominated arrangements place the songs midway between pop and Levantine shaabi. Tigers Band Facebook page
