Gomidas Band was formed in Aleppo by a group of Syrian Armenian artists in the early 1990s. With a rich legacy of studio albums and live performances, Gomidas have gained popularity both inside and outside Syria, and remain active today. Aside from their original material, the band has also performed and recorded covers of well-known Arabic pop songs. This 1991 studio album showcases their distinctive flair for reinterpreting Arabic classics with fresh arrangements.
