Nagat Al Saghira, born in Cairo in 1938, began her artistic journey early, debuting on Cairo Radio in the early 1950s. She released numerous albums and singles, including Ana Albi Eleik Mayyal (My Heart Leans Towards You) and Al Hawa Hawak (The Passion is Yours) and became an icon of authentic tarab music, renowned for her sweet, emotive voice. Al Saghira collaborated with legendary composers such as Baligh Hamdy and Mohamed Abdel Wahab. Her album Asaalek Al Raheel (I Ask You to Leave) is one of her most prominent works, and stands as a tarab classic, showcasing her expressive brilliance.
