Gomidas Band was formed in Aleppo by a group of Syrian Armenian artists in the early 1990’s. With a rich legacy of studio-recorded albums and live performances, Gomidas have gained popularity inside and outside Syria, and are still active today.
On many of their albums, the group cover Arabic pop and folk music, arranged with their own personal flare.Side B of this tape contains a medley performed in Armenian.
