Ismail Al-Agha was born in Aleppo, where he began singing in the mid-nineties at a young age. He has sung dabke, mawal and attaba, and performed songs in the Kurdish language and the Iraqi dialect, among others. Today, Al-Agha resides in Sweden and performs live concerts for the Syrian community there.
