More Info

A selection of non-stop Dabke sets performed live by a number of singers from the city of Raqqa. The tape is almost a summary of the heritage of the dabke and rhythms of the city of Raqqa and the Euphrates region. Several of these songs are driven by the distinctive sound of the zammara instrument, which is common in the music, weddings and occasions of that region.
