More Info

This compilation of Lebanese singer and composer Azar Habib features some of the most popular songs from his career, spanning from the late 1970s into the early 1990s. This type of Lebanese music found great popularity in Syria at the end of the 20th century, perhaps more than in Lebanon. Syrian radio stations used to dedicate their entire morning segment to Fairouz, followed by a number of Lebanese singers such as Azar Habib, Wadi' Al-Safi, Zaki Nassif and others, until their songs became ingrained in the Syrian memory.
