Since her career began at the start of the 2000s, Nermin Ibrahim has remained a familiar face at weddings and celebrations throughout Syria. In addition to dabke, she is also known for her distinct Attaba singing style. Her strong voice can be likened to sawt jabali - a term describing the powerful vocal characteristics of singers from mountainous regions. Ibrahim originates from the city of Jableh, Lattakia, and currently resides in in Damascus. She continues singing across Syria and recently performed in Erbil, Iraq.
