More Info

Hussein Al-Abdullah (Abu Nidal) is a poet and singer from the Sahel Al-Ghab area in Hama. He was well known for his Attaba performances with accompaniment from the rebab, an instrument he played professionally. He was very popular within his region throughout his life, as well as in the north of Syria – in Aleppo and Idlib. Some of his best known Attaba dialogues saw him collaborate with the legendary Ahmed Al Tilawy.
