More Info

Mustafa Abu Al-Fouz is a shaabi singer from the village of Munbej, in the countryside of Aleppo. He started his career in the 1990's, and he continues to issue new recordings and videos to this day.

Over the course of his career, Abu Al-Fouz performed with several female artists in the local scene, as well as Iraqi artists that had moved to Syria following the American invasion, who integrated into the shaabi music scenes of North and Northeastern Syria.

Houda Al-Basry appears on the tape cover, but this tape doesn't include her voice. Abu Al-Fouz did collaborate with Houda Al-Basri, singing with her on many occasions, which can be heard on other recordings from that period.
